Once seen vertically, you’ll notice a ladder motif within the design. As a ladder is meant to climb higher one step at a time, so are we. Poco a poco is transcribed on every piece. The Italian phrase is often found in music, yet holds true to the embodiment of the brand. Poco a poco, or little by little is here to remind us the daily, small build-up is meaningful. Greatness doesn’t happen at once. Allow these pieces to remind you of your commitment to the continuous journey of ascent, progress, and self-mastery.
Moreover, we are a brand that celebrates the inner balance between the push and pull, the traditional and new age, the delicate and strong, the Petal and Chrome.
About the Designer
From the time I was a little girl, I’d pull fashion magazines straight from the mail pile, examining every detail while my mom and I critiqued wardrobe makeover shows together. Those moments cemented my love for design.
At the same time, my dad was integral in teaching me music. We’d play instruments together, and through him I learned sheet music terms like poco a poco (“little by little”), a phrase that still guides how I approach both life and design.
Even as a Broadcast Journalism major, I never expected to come full circle back to design. My life seemed set on a completely different path, until I took a sharp turn and followed the dream I couldn’t ignore. I kept sketching, kept creating, and simply couldn’t let it go.
Petal and Chrome was born from that passion. To me, it’s more than jewelry and shoes - it’s confidence, joy, and a reminder of who you really are. Our emotions may shift day to day, but when you wear this brand, it grounds you, lifts you, and reconnects you with your truest, most confident self.
